The digital skills training project for the citizens of Castilla y Le\u00f3n, awarded by the Government of Castilla y Le\u00f3n to Mainjobs in 2023, successfully surpasses its first milestone with more than 3,000 people trained<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the company awarded the project to train citizens in digital skills within the framework of component 19 \u201cnational digital skills plan (digitalskills)\u201d, Mainjobs<\/a> has entered the month of December with more than 3,000 people trained in digital skills in the Community of Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, thus surpassing the first milestone proposed for a program that began in September and that has been a great challenge due to its size and characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final objective is to reach 35,000 people who, after going through the in-person and virtual classrooms of CyL Digital<\/a>, have acquired new skills in the use and exploitation of digital tools<\/strong>, whether with the aim of boosting their employability or simply to adapt to the demands of the digital age (communicating with loved ones, completing online procedures, using technology in the domestic sphere, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program will run until early 2026 and, to deliver face-to-face courses, 9 spaces have been established located in the different capitals of the province of Castilla y Le\u00f3n, in addition to a network of 200 centers spread throughout the geography of the CCAA,<\/strong> that ensure the possibility of access to the program for people from any population. This network of centers, combined with access to online training, has ensured the impact of the project on citizens and facilitated the achievement of this first milestone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor me, the best thing about the program is the challenge of training 35,000 people,\u201d says Loreto Cantero, project director at Mainjobs along with Ana Soler. \u201cIt is not an easy thing, but It allows us to unite society under this digital revolution that the Ministry of Mobility and Digital Transformation of the Government of Castilla y Le\u00f3n is promoting. Training is a perfect mix between digital and human<\/strong>, since in-person training allows us to create spaces where people can meet in person, share experiences and exchange knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To carry out a project of such dimensions, Mainjobs has formed a highly qualified technical team of almost a hundred professionals<\/strong>, between coordination staff, content development, teachers and tutors in person and online, advisors in new technologies, communication and marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This free training in digital skills for citizens, designed and implemented by the Ministry of Mobility and Digital Transformation of the Government of Castilla y Le\u00f3n, with the collaboration of Mainjobs as the project's executing company, is framed in the Component 19 of the \u201cNational Digital Skills Plan<\/a>\u201d, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, being financed by Next Generation European funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
